2. Use of Our Platform
You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully, in line with our Community Guidelines and Membership Agreement. You must not:
  • Share your login credentials or access with others;
  • Post harmful, discriminatory, or misleading content;
  • Use the platform for unlawful or commercial activities;
  • Attempt to access data or accounts that do not belong to you.

3. Membership
Access to certain content or features may require you to hold a valid Free or Premium Membership, as outlined in the Membership Agreement.
By subscribing, you agree to the applicable Membership Fees, payment terms, and cancellation policy detailed in that agreement.
We reserve the right to change membership benefits or pricing with prior notice (typically 30 days).

4. Intellectual Property
All content, resources, branding, templates, and materials provided on or via Hurdle (the “Content”) are the property of Hurdle or its licensors.
You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, sell, or exploit any Hurdle content without prior written consent.
Members retain rights to their own uploaded content but grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on our platform.

5. Privacy & Data
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data in compliance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
You can read it in full at: https://www.hurdlecommunity.co.uk/privacy-policy
We will never sell your data. We use secure third-party providers (e.g. Stripe, Notion, Flodesk, Google) under appropriate agreements.

6. Availability & Limitations
While we aim for 24/7 service availability, we may need to pause or restrict access due to maintenance or system issues. We are not liable for outages outside of our control.
Some features or services are experimental or beta and may change or be withdrawn at any time.

7. Termination
We may suspend or cancel your access if you violate these Terms, breach the Community Guidelines, or fail to pay applicable Membership Fees.
You may cancel at any time by emailing: info@hurdlecommunity.co.uk with 30 days’ notice.

8. Disclaimers
Hurdle is a supportive platform, not a job placement agency. All advice, tools, and coaching are intended to support your job search, not guarantee employment.
We are not liable for actions you take based on advice, workshops, or peer content.

9. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for:
  • Indirect or consequential loss;
  • Loss of earnings, employment, or opportunity;
  • Third-party service failures (e.g. Stripe, Notion, Google);
  • Member reliance on inaccurate peer or user content.

10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll notify Members by email and/or post a notice on our website. Continued use of the platform after updates means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
